My name is Julia Walczyk-Klimaszyk. I am a leading world female foil fencer, an Olympian from Paris, and a multiple medalist in the Women's Foil World Cups and European Championships. I am a soldier in the Polish Army, serving in the Central Military Sports Team.
About Me
My passion for fencing dates back to my childhood, when, as a huge Star Wars fan, I decided to start training at the age of 9. I took my first steps at KS Zjednoczeni Pabianice, where I won medals at national and world championship events, including a double World Team Championship title in the junior category.
I currently have the pleasure of representing Klub Uczelniany AZS UAM Poznań. I am also a four-time Polish individual champion and a seven-time Polish team champion. My international achievements also include a silver and bronze medal in the individual World Cup, two bronze medals in the team event, and a team silver medal at the European Championships.
I regularly take first place in the ranking of the Polish Fencing Federation, and I have reached as high as fifth place in the world ranking of the International Fencing Federation (FIE). I consistently place in the top 8 of the world's best female fencers during World Cup events. I am also a soldier in the Polish Army, which further underscores my commitment, discipline, and determination in pursuing my goals.
